Top 10 things I will do on Council!

 

1.  Introduce a motion to have electronic or postal voting for Council Elections.

 

2.  Work to reduce costs of running council including finding a way to avoid By Elections for Ward Councillors.

 

3.  Support the single phase redevelopment of the Willoughby Leisure Centre.

 

4.  Work to reduce traffic congestion on Eastern Valley Way, Sailors Bay and Alpha Roads.

 

5.  Listen to the residents and businesses of the entire Sailors Bay Ward.

 

6.  Fight to ensure that as soon as possible the Haven Amphitheatre, an important historical, cultural and community  

     site receives the necessary support & funding from Council to become a safe, viable and ongoing treasure.

 

7.  Support efforts to increase the participation rates in sports by ensuring access to sporting fields and facilities.

 

8.  Support the continued efforts to green Sailors Bay Ward including local bush care programs.

 

9.  Ensure the Northbridge Plaza car park redevelopment benefits the community.

 

10. Work with other councillors, progress associations and residents to get the best outcomes for Sailors Bay.
